Week 1 of the Fall edition of GX94 Supper in the Field found us traveling to the Sean & Brandy Eggie Farm located West of Swan River, MB.  With land in both Saskatchewan & Manitoba, this Wednesday found the Eggie’s and their Harvest Crew harvesting Hard Red Spring Wheat on the Manitoba side.  Sean reports the yield was good as was the weight and protein.  With about 6000 Acres they were just getting going with this years Harvest and are hoping Mother Nature continues to provide the warm dry weather we experienced throughout the Summer.
