Week 2 of the Spring Edition of the GX94 Supper in the Field was held in the Decker, MB area at Murray Farms.  A family operation with brothers Dale & Ryan caring on the daily operations along with their wives Allison & Louise.  Currently seeding in the 4100 Acre range they were just getting into full swing as the fields were starting to be dry enough and the weather getting to be a bit warmer.  Congratulations to the Murray families on their Supper in the Field event and best of luck with the 2017 seeding and throughout the growing season!

May 10/17 brought about the beginning of the Spring Edition of the GX94 Supper in the Field as we once again take to the road to say thank you to our hard working Prairie Farmers.  Week 1 found us traveling East of Russell, MB to the farm of Mark & Claudia Keating where they own and operate Keating Seed Farm.  The Keating’s are well underway with seeding progress having about 4 days of planting completed as they work to seed approximately 7500 Acres this year.  Supper was held in their large farm shop and was attended by family, farm workers and friends.  Best of luck to the Keating’s throughout 2017 and beyond, and thank you for being part of the many Men & Women who continue to feed the World!

On Thursday April 27th, 2017, Hammond Realty and Berlinic Auctions Ltd. held their first Live & Online Auction at Preeceville, SK.  Up for sale were 2 quarters with an additional 14 acres adjoined that included an old yard site with power and water supply.  The Event was held at the Preeceville Legion Hall and was well attended.  We received numerous comments regarding the professional setup in the Hall along with the format of the Auction.  Attendees were especially pleased with the ability to come early, doors opened 2.5 hours prior to the Auction, and discuss the property with the Hammond Realty Agents in attendance.  Having a Farm Land Real Estate Brokerage backed by a Farm Land Auction Company holding the Auction proved to be a huge bonus with awesome results for the Vendors and excellent information and service to the Buyers.  The Big Screen, 7′ x 12′, playing prior to and during the Auction was very appreciated by all with many commenting on the quality of the information displayed including the Drone Video.  Selling Farm Land by Auction, just one of the many options available to Sellers and Buyers through Hammond Realty and Berlinic Auctions Ltd.
